今日はみんなにとって本当に素晴らしい一日でした。
各自が自分に与えられた務めをきちんとこなしました。
We enjoy every moment and we have the most delicious meal: flown noodles and tempura. One of our board members made the yummy and healthy tempura for us.
私たちは一分一秒をも楽しみ、すごく美味しいご飯を食べました：流しそうめんと天ぷらです。理事の一人が美味しくてヘルシーな天ぷらを作ってくれました。
Today lunch break, we all could enjoy the meal and had a great fellowship among the students and staffs. Understanding and caring is tangible in every work.
今日のお昼に私たちはみんなで食事を楽しみ、生徒、スタッフ間で親睦を深めました。理解と思いやりを一人一人の中に見ることができました。
Most of the students are on the summer school trip. Today there are three students with us. Staffs outnumber the students. Thankfully, staffs have more time to converse with the students today.
ほとんどの生徒は夏合宿に行っています。今日は3人の生徒だけでした。スタッフの数の方が多いです。ありがたいことに今日スタッフは生徒と話す時間がいつもよりたくさんありました
Afternoon, we have “how to make conversation and a workshop” which encourage students to speak their feelings out to the staffs. One conversation session lasts for 10 minutes and the students need to move to another staff and make conversation or consultation.
午後は生徒たちが自分の気持ちを話すように『会話の仕方ワークショップ』をやりました。1回の会話を10分続けて生徒が別のスタッフのところに移動し、また会話したり相談したりしました。
Student 1: Today I could talk somehow the things I couldn’t know how to do. And I feel like today is a special day for me.
生徒１：今日私はどうやったらよいかわからなかったことをいくらか話せました。そして今日は私にとって特別な一日となりました。
Student 2: I feel like today was one of the summer holidays. I could enjoy the flown noodles. And through a workshop of “how to make conversation” class, I consider to do well at my work and with my family. The conversation helps me indeed.
生徒２：今日はなんだか夏休みの1日だったような気分でした。流しそうめんは楽しかった。『会話の仕方』のワークショップ授業を通して仕事でも家族ともうまくやっていこうと考えました。会話は本当に私の助けとなりました。
Living itself is at times a big task. Some students find difficult to live itself. Making a simple conversation is at times challenging. Some students find so hard to speak something out because there is no topics to exchange. Yet, students are “living” today and for today and trying to at least connect with someone.
生きていくことそれ自体が時には大きな仕事です。ある生徒たちは生きることそのものが難しいと思っています。シンプルな会話でさえ時にはチャレンジなのです。ある生徒たちは話す話題を持っていないので何かを話すのが難しいと思っています。それでも、生徒たちは今日を生きています。今日のために生きています。そして少なくとも誰かと繋がろうとしているのです。
“Today” is a gift. “Now” is priceless. Above all, the students are truly gifts for our school and for me. Their lives are priceless. Our school tries and will keep on trying to help them find their places in this beautiful universe. No one is alone. No one is meant to be alone. Everyone is precious and needed for someone. Everyone has a task only he/she can do in this wide universe.
『今日』は贈り物。『今』はかけがえのないもの。とりわけ、生徒たちは私たちの学園と私にとって本当に贈り物です。彼らの人生はかけがえのないもの。私たちの学園は彼らがこの美しい世界に自分の場所をみつけるための手助けをし続けます。誰もがひとりぼっちではありません。ひとりぼっちになるようにもなっていません。みんなが誰かの大切な人であり必要な人なのです。誰もがこの広い世界の中でその人にしかできない役割を持っているのです。
