As our 15th anniversary Event is on June 24, we all are quite excited. Everyone has been working on each task for the upcoming event. Besides school starts planning for School festival of this year.
Today too, student council is in charge of a morning class. I had talked with a couple of students about the morning class which reviewed the records of last year School Festival and discussed for the School Festival of this year.
15周年のイベントが24日に行われるので私たちはみんなとてもエキサイトしています。
みんながこのイベントのために各々の業務をこなしてきました。その上、学園は今年の学園祭の計画を始めました。
今日も午前中は生徒会授業でした。 昨年の学園祭の記録を振り返り、今年の学園祭についての話し合いをした午前中の生徒会授業について私は2、3人の生徒と話をしました。
Students are grouped into five. Each group has to look through the record and survey of last year. And each group needs to discuss and come up with a better plan for the School festival.
生徒は5つのグループに分けられました。各グループは昨年の記録を見て振り返りをしました。そして、各グループは話し合い、学園祭のためにより良い計画を考え出す必要があります。
Student 1: I want to do my best in order to show appreciation to school and to all the people who support us.
Student 2: I enjoyed today’s class as we did have a fruitful discussion. I could hear the voice of students more today.
生徒1:私は学園と私たちを支えてくださる人たちに感謝の気持ちを表すために精一杯やりたいです。
生徒2:今日はとても実のある話し合いができて楽しかったです。みんなの声をより聞けました。
This afternoon we prepared for the upcoming event of June 24. Students are doing their parts which are being assigned to them. Everyone come up with a willing heart and idea to the tasks. I learnt some idea from students today.
今日の午後は来たる6月24日に行われるイベントのために準備をしました。
生徒たちは各自割り当てられた仕事をやりました。みんながその仕事にやる気とアイディアを出しました。私は今日生徒からいくつかアイディアを学びました。
Student 3: Today is my last day of a trail work experience. It was so tiring. Yet, I learnt to know how to be independent and how to work in society. Working six hours a day is consuming my energy. I learnt that working four hours a day is best for me.
生徒3:今日は研修最終日でした。とても疲れました。私はどうやって自立していくか、社会の中でどうやって働くかを知りました。１日6時間働くことで私のエネルギーは消耗してしまいます。１日4時間が私には一番よいとわかりました。
Students are learning everyday by the school and its activities, by working actually, by being with other students, by listening to others and experiences…
生徒たちは学園とその活動によって、実際働くことによって、他の生徒といることによって、人の話を聞くことによって、そして経験によって毎日学んでいるのです。
Needless to say, there are lots of opportunities for students to know oneself, to understand their current situation, to acknowledge their capacity and to amend their weak points in and through this Samugaku.
