Did you have a good day? As for me, my heart hurts these days as I feel the pangs and struggles that some students have. I do love about Samugaku that no one is left alone. By being together, we struggle together and rise together. There is someone always for students.
いつもブログを楽しみにしてくれているみなさん、こんにちは。いい日をお過ごしですか? 私はどうかと言えば、最近ある生徒たちの抱えている痛みや葛藤を感じて心が痛いです。私は誰をもひとりぼっちで取り残すことのないサムガクを心から愛しています。一緒にいることによって、共に悩み、共に立ち上がります。いつも誰かが生徒のそばにいます。
Each life matters. Each life is so precious. Our students have big hearts and lot of talents. I am sure that students find their talents and their worth here in Samugaku. Being recluse, students learn to be with someone in Samugaku. Talking to someone is challenging and troublesome, yet students learn to communicate with someone here in Samugaku.
それぞれの人生が大切で、それぞれの人生がとても貴重なものです。うちの生徒たちは大きな心と多くの才能を持っています。生徒たちはここサムガクで自分の才能と価値を必ずや見出すことでしょう。生徒たちは引きこもっていたので、サムガクでは誰かといることを学びます。誰かに話しかけることは難しいことですし、めんどうなことです。それでも生徒たちはここサムガクで誰かとコミュニケーションを取ることを学んでいます。
Working in a team requires to talk and interact with others. Students are doing a good team work by talking and interacting this morning. This morning, students learn to make foil wrapped baked sweet-potatoes. Students are divided in four groups and each group chose sweet potatoes which we grew them. And wrapped them in foil for baking. And set the campfire by each group. Life is SO REAL here in the morning. Students were so into each activity. Chatter and laugher were beautiful to my ears.
班で動くにはほかの人たちとお互いに話し意見交換しなければなりません。今朝、生徒たちは話し合いながら良い班活動をしていました。今朝みんなはホイルで包んだ焼き芋作りを学びました。4つの班に分かれて、それぞれ自分たちが育てたサツマイモから良いもの選びました。そして焼くためにホイルで包みました。そして火の中に入れました。今朝ここでは人生はとてもとても現実です。生徒たちはそれぞれの活動にとても熱中していました。おしゃべりと笑いは私の耳に美しく響きました。
Some students came to me and talked to me.
Student 1: She wanted to cry in the morning. Then we did hair arrangement together and I put on some cosmetic on her. Our little kindness works tremendously here in Samugaku.
ある生徒たちが私のもとに来て話しました。
生徒１：午前中彼女は泣きたかったのです。それで私たちは一緒に髪をアレンジし、私は彼女にお化粧をしてあげました。私たちの小さな親切はサムガクではものすごく効果を発揮します。
Student 2: he wants someone to listen to. He has mixed feelings that he wants to talk and doesn’t want to talk. Our Samugaku is trying to accept students the ways they are. Students can always gain time and understanding from staff.
生徒2：彼は誰か聞いてくれる人が欲しています。話したい気分と話したくない気分の両方入り混じった気持ちです。私たちサムガクはそのままの彼らを受け入れています。生徒たちはスタッフからいつも時間と理解をまらっています。
Shy students greet with smiles here in Samugaku. 恥ずかしがり屋の生徒たちはここサムガクでは笑顔で挨拶しています。
If I am given the opportunity to share about students’ growth and resilience, I can share them in details with tears. It might take a while day. We staff are growing with the students and we would like to grow with students.
生徒たちの成長と快活さを共有させてもらえるなら、私は涙と共にそれらを詳細に話せます。それには丸一日かかるかもしれません。私たちスタッフは生徒たちと共に成長していますし、生徒たちと共に成長したいと思っています。
In the afternoon, students prepared garlic for OIDARA. Students worked on preparing garlic in a team: they laughed; they teased; they conversed…
午後、生徒たちはおいだれのためのニンニク剥きをやりました。生徒たちは班ごとに作業をしました。彼らは笑い、からかい、話しあい・・・
Samugaku embraces a wide diversity. Each student is different and with different gifts. I look forward to individuals and their growth: being independent and reenter society when their time comes.
サムガクはたくさんの多様性に応じています。生徒一人一人は違っていて違う才能を持っています。私は一人一人とその成長を楽しみにしています。:彼らにその時が来たら自立し、社会にまた踏み出していくことを。
