Today we learned about Google Business Account, which is one of the ways companies can do basic level online activities like change what appears about a business on Google maps. Setting up and using it is fairly straightforward forward but many business owners in Japan don’t know how to use these features. People trying to make themselves more valuable as employees, especially at small businesses, can learn how to use these features to support their company. We learned how to set up the account, add business addresses, hours, make basic posts, and so on.
Of course Google offers many other programs including paid advertising and so on, but those can be more complicated and take specialized knowledge. However, these basic features are free and ones anyone can use, so it’s good for young employees to be knowledgable about them.
